PADI Instructor Course
An often asked question: Is this course difficult?
And the answer is: NO, if you enjoyed a competent diver education! The IDC will shows you how all PADI Courses are structured and the way a prudent Instructor should conduct these courses and you get a good look on the business side of Scuba Diving.
This IDC is basically a summary of all previous Padi Courses like:
- Padi Open Water Diver
- Padi Advanced Open Water Diver
- Padi Emergency First Responder
- Padi Rescue Diver
- Padi Divemaster and/or
- Padi Assistant Instructor
The PADI IDC covers the following:
Training through a PADI Course Director over at least 7 days maybe even 8 days. Great emphasis is given towards Knowledge Development, Confined Water and Open Water teaching presentations. Here you learn the right way which enables you to teach various Padi Courses with great efficiency and much more. You will have a great intake of information on this IDC but it is fun and really rewarding. Being a Padi Instructor will allow you to work anywhere in the world and believe you me, there are numberous great places on this beautiful planet.
Right after the IDC you are able to participate in the "Emergency First Responder Instructor Course". You will be trained in CPR and Artificial Resuscitation, using the "AED" - Defibrillator plus handling of Oxygen Equipment including Administration of Oxygen to people in need. An important tool in addition to your Padi Instructor course.
The Padi Instructor Examination (IE) will be conducted by another Padi Course Director especially trained for examinations and will take 2 days. After your successful examination we do have a great closing ceremony.
