The objective of the Self Reliant course is to maintain the value and use of the buddy system while understanding the philosophy and motivation behind diving without a partner. In this PADI Specialty Course you will also be introduced to the potential risks, but also risk management techniques on how to minimize or eliminate existing risks.
Furthermore, during the course your Self Reliant diving skills will be improved and brought up to the next level. Dive planning and proper gas management are emphasized and much more.
An absolutely interesting course.
Prerequisite for participation in this course:
Course material: After two theory units, fill out the review questions and write the final exam.
Minimum age: 18 years - and at least in possession of a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Brevet or equivalent
Logged dives: 100
Number of dives: 3 dives in open water
