PADI Divemaster Course
Training for the management level...The first step towards PADI Professional. A comprehensive program with three main groups:
- Competence in the water, theoretical knowledge and practical applications
- Your theoretical knowledge and your skills in the water are brought to Instructor level.
- This course qualifies you to assist PADI Instructors with student divers in training, and to independently conduct the Skin Diver Course,Discover Local Diving and Scuba Review programs.
- As well as Discover Scuba Diving, but only in confined open water after the internship training and registration with PADI
Option A - Internship
You should take your time for this option. Although only 5 pool training dives and 10 open water training dives are required by PADI standards, you get 30 dives with us! This option puts you in touch with all the different types of diving and the different courses. Starting with Bubble Maker, DSD programs and PADI courses from beginner to Divemaster and various specialty courses.
During the course you will also learn how to make U/W maps, refine your rescue skills, make emergency plans and guide certified dives and many other skills that a Divemaster must be able to do. A real challenge and good preparation to become a good instructor.
Option B - Practical Trainings Exercises
This option is an alternative to an internship and is used when an internship, i.e. the possibility to participate in many different courses, is not given. Although this option is different, it is still a challenge because you can include a variety of exercises/scenarios to ensure the experience of the participants. The best would be a combination of both options.
Also with this option you will learn how to make a U/W map during the course and your rescue skills will be refined. The preparation of an emergency plan is also compulsory here as well as the guiding of already certified divers. You will also learn many extra skills that are necessary in the daily life of a Divemaster. Good training and preparation are the cornerstones for success in the diving industry.
Welcome to the professionals!
